Mobile now drives most revenue for modern brands, and AI is rapidly changing how teams create, personalize, and scale apps. Bryj sits at the center of that shift, helping teams move faster by bringing app creation, engagement, and acquisition.

Recently, Bryj appointed James Colgan as Chief Executive Officer, accelerating its mission to become the all-in-one AI-powered growth platform.

A new era of mobile growth built for marketers, not engineers

For many marketing leaders, the mobile opportunity is obvious. The operational reality is tougher: fragmented mobile stacks, long timelines, and growth programs that rely on engineering cycles slow teams down.

“Marketing teams are under enormous pressure to drive growth on mobile“

Bryj removes that bottleneck by enabling marketing teams to build high-performing mobile apps in weeks. Combining drive adoption, engagement, and customer acquisition from the same platform.

Why James Colgan and why now?

James Colgan’s track record aligns closely with what Bryj is building next: products that scale, and teams that execute with discipline.

Previously, he led Microsoft Outlook Mobile, helping launch the app and scale it from zero to nearly 60 million active users in two years. And later held senior product roles at Slack and helped scale Spendesk to unicorn status.

Investor conviction in a category-defining platform

Bryj’s investors see the company’s strategy as more than incremental tooling it’s an attempt to unify the core pillars of mobile growth: creation, engagement, and AI advertising/acquisition.

Cathay Innovation’s Denis Barrier emphasized the ambition and timing, adding: “This is the moment Bryj accelerates.”

Zetta Venture Partners’ Mark Gorenberg echoed the core problem Bryj is tackling: helping brands create high-performing apps and then driving users into them with AI, pointing to the leadership required to take that vision through its next stage of growth.

Jennifer Fonstad highlighted the market direction: unifying app creation, engagement, and acquisition in one AI-powered platform is a category-defining idea. And she sees James Colgan as the right leader to scale it globally.

What is next for Bryj?

Bryj continues expanding among leading consumer and retail brands including Ethan Allen, Allegis, and PacSun. By using the platform to power mobile experiences and drive app-led growth.

Looking ahead, the company is preparing a series of advancements in early 2026 to further unify mobile app creation, engagement, and AI-powered acquisition into a streamlined, marketer-led workflow.
